P1DI’s flagship products provides AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) functionality with Smart Meters and can be fitted onto a new meter or can be retrofitted into a utility’s existing mechanical electric utility meters.

P1DI offers a wide range of energy meters (Electricity and Water) allowing Utilities to better manage the electrical network and protect their revenue. Once installed at the utility’s meter, software records load / usage information accurately in real-time as often as every 15 minutes (configurable), and then sends the information to the Utility’s computers as often as required using Public Networks such as fixed, wireless or Private Network such as power line or RF.

Data Concentrator Units

The Data Concentrator Unit is a gateway for communication of data between the Meter Interface Unit/Smart Meter and the substation. The Data Concentrator Unit requests information from the Meter Interface Unit/Smart Meter on a scheduled basis and stores the data, which can be accessed by the Substation server. The Sub-Station can access real time data from a connected Meter directly through the Data Concentrator Unit. The Data Concentrator Unit notifies the Sub-Station in case of any tampering at the customer’s premises. DCU is a Single Board Computer (SBC) running on Embedded Linux operation system. Meter Interface Units

The Meters at the customer premises are interfaced to the Energy Meter Interface Unit either directly or optically to obtain the Meter Data. This data is transferred via Power Line Carrier Technology using the existing power lines to a Data Concentrator located at the Distribution Transformer (DTR). This technology enables us to implement AMS with negligible running cost, resulting in higher & faster returns.

Billing engine & Audit Engine
Engine is designed to calculate energy consumption cost for individual meters. It has been augmented with Audit engine to constantly monitor energy flow match with the revenue generated. Audit engine can determine Energy theft, leakage, maximum demand and establish Purchase cost/Unit v/s Gain/Unit

Web Self Service
Consumer logins to the WSS portal allow consumers to check their Connection details, Billing information, Consumptions pattern, Consumption history, Pay consumption bill, register a complaint, check status, Update profile and etc.

Generates hierarchical reports for Financial, Operational and Customer Satisfaction on Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly basis. They also provide personalized Audit, Billing and Management reports on scheduled time.

 

Utility Admin Module

Utility Admin Module is a web based application service which provides an end to end solution for the Admin User. Using this application admin users can add new consumers, new meters, new connections, interface units (PLC EMIU or GPRS EMIU), TOU billing, tariff plans. View and track there details.

The admin user will be assigned to a particular branch while providing credentials and later can chart load profiles, analyze tariff plans, view consumer bills, analyze the usage and payment history reports power consumption reports based on area, division, locality, branch, view notification-tampers, alarms triggered, events scheduled .The major functionalities that will be a built in order to achieve the target of the Admin Module are listed as follows:

Consumer Information System (CIS)

CIS (Consumer Information System) is a web based application service which allows a user to track his/her electricity consumption. This module provides an E2E solution for the consumer.

The CIS module helps a consumer to create profile, update it, track consumption details, pay bills and view the report of his/her activities. The Major functionalities that will be a built in order to achieve the target of the CIS module are listed as follows:
